Chicken soup is a healthy hot pot recipe which is very easy to prepare. They are different kinds of soups like veg soup, chicken soup, tomato soup, etc .. Basically, soup is simmering the broth or water with chicken or veggies according to the recipe. But here we are showing a simple recipe with chicken and some spices.

How to make Chicken Soup:

For this recipe firstly, saute the bay leaf, ginger, garlic, chill’s, chicken in the butter and secondly add water to boil the chicken with all the ingredients and finally, add beaten egg and chopped coriander leaves. Above all, this recipe is very healthy because of chicken and egg they are full of protein.

Minced Chicken: Chicken is the main ingredient. But we are using minced chicken here. So make sure that chicken needs to be boiled properly while making the soup. Certainly, chicken is a good source of protein, essential vitamins and minerals. This helps to maintain your body weight and increases metabolism moreover, it decreases the bone loss too.

Spices:  Adds an Indian touch to the soup in addition to that, ginger helps to reduce nausea, and garlic helps to reduce cholesterol and blood pressure.  pepper is beneficial for asthma and arthritis too

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 bay leaf
  • 1 tbsp chopped ginger
  • 1 tbsp chopped garlic
  • 1 tbsp chopped green chillis
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1 cup minced chicken
  • 1 tbsp pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaf chopped
  • 2 tsp lemon juice

Instructions

  • Heat the kadai on medium flame and add butter to the kadai and let it melt.
  • Then add bay leaf to the kadai and saute it until it turns aromatic.
  • Next add finely chopped garlic and ginger. saute them until the raw flavor is gone or else it will spoil the taste of the soup.
  • Then add finely chopped chillis and fry them for 1 min. adjust chillis according to your taste.
  • Then add 1 cup of chopped onions and saute the onions until they turn light golden brown.
  • Then add minced chicken in to the onions and mix well with all the ingredients. let it fry for few mins.
  • Then add water after the chicken is little bit fried. and stir well so that the can separate in the water and chicken can boil well.
  • Then add pepper powder and salt to the kadai and mix well and let it boil for 5 mins.
  • Then add soy sauce and mix well and let boil for fem more mins.
  • After that red chilli flakes to the soup and stir well and this adds the spice to the soup.stir occasionally in between.
  • Then add beaten egg to the soup and mix well so that the egg can mix in the soup properly .boil soup for few mins on medium flame.
  • Add freshly chopped coriander to the soup and simmer the soup on medium to low flame.
  • Finally, squeeze the fresh lemon juice to the soup and check the salt and turn of the stove.
  • serve the tasty home made chicken soup hot.
