Chicken chips is a starter , snack, or a side dish recipe. This crunchy from outside. Above all, this calls for basic ingredients only. Nothing fancy required for this yummy snack. As you know, there different recipes you can make with chicken like chicken curry, chicken pulao, chicken biryani. But this chicken chips doesn’t need much time, can be done in 15 mins. So this the best recipe for kids and unexpected guests . Moreover, this is similar to chicken nuggets . In addition to that, very less oil required for this so this is a healthy recipe. How to make chicken chips:
To make this chicken chips, first cut the chicken into slices. Make sure that, it is a boneless chicken and the slices should be thin. Now marinate the chicken with red chili flakes, pepper powder, oregano, salt, corn flour and oregano. Now mix every thing really well. So that chicken completely coat with the spices. Now rest the chicken for 20 mins. After that, heat the griddle or pan and grease the pan. Once the griddle is hot add chicken slices to the pan and roast them until they are cooked. Eat the hot chicken chips with some dip or sauce.

Capsaicin is the main component in red chili. It promotes the healthy heart by reduction of cholesterol and avoiding the formation of blood clots.
Corn flour: Corn flour is added to coat the chicken. It is made with corn, so it accommodate protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals. It provides the crunchy outer layer, so it is most frequently added in snacks. And it improves the thickness of soups. Moreover, this is gluten free.
Ingredients for chicken chips:
- 250 gm chicken slices
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp pepper powder
- 2 tbsp oil/olive oil
- 1 tbsp corn flour
- 1 tsp salt
- Take a boneless chicken and cut into slices. Make sure that slices are thin. Now transfer the slices to a mixing bowl.
- Sprinkle red chili flakes, oregano, pepper powder, salt, cornflour on the chicken slices. After that pour olive oil.
- Now combine all of them together. Check the taste. Leave it for 20 mins.
- Now take the griddle or a pan. And then spread the oil on the griddle. When the griddle is hot put the chicken slices on the griddle.
- Once they are griddle or cooked on one side turn them to the other side. After that take in a bowl. Serve them hot with dipping or sauce.
Chicken Biryani :
Chicken biryani is a world famous dish, which doesn’t need introduction. There might be slight variation in making biryani according to the region. And importantly, biryani is favourite for most of the people. To make this recipe
- First, marinate the chicken the chicken with curd, salt, chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala or chicken biryani masala, green chili coriander leaves and mint leaves.
- Mix every thing well with hand. And rest for over night in the fridge. If it is not possible rest at least for 1 hr.
- Now, soak the basmati rice 30 mins. After heat the oil in the pan and put whole spices and bay leaf. Fry them until they turn aromatic.
- Then put the sliced onions to the pan and fry until they golden brown. At this stage you can add cashew nuts if you want.
- Next goes the chicken. Now combine every thing well. And close the lid and cook until the chicken get soften.
- Meanwhile, take water in the pot and add salt, oil and whole spices to the pan. When the water is boiled add the soaked basmati rice to the pot.
- Boil the rice till 70% and drain the water and spread the rice in the plate.
- Now check the chicken. once the chicken is cooked add the cooked rice on the top chicken as a layer. On the top add fried onions, chopped coriander leaves, biryani masala and saffron water for color.
- Now seal it with a lid, so the pressure can’t escape . Now cook it for 20 mins. Once it is done, turn of the stove and let it cool down for a bit.
- After that mix the rice with chicken mixture and serve.
chicken and cheese sandwich:
This is my kids favourite and great for lunch and snack box. To start this recipe,
- First, boil the chicken with some salt, pepper and garlic. After that shred the chicken. Now take a bowl and add shred chicken.
- After that add mayonnaise, pepper powder and Italian seasoning to the chicken and mix them well.
- Now spread the chicken mixture on the bread and place the cheese slice on the bread. After that cover it with another slice of bread.
- Next, add some butter on both sides of the bread and toast the bread. Then add some more butter and oregano on the top of the bread and place it on the pan. Toast until it turn brown.
- Now cut the sandwich like a triangle and serve.
They are different kids of pakoda like onion pakoda, paneer pakoda and bread pakoda. This pokada is quite common in Indian restaurents and in Indian streets.
- To start the recipe, first make the besan mixture. For that, add salt, chili powder, curry leaves, garam masala, turmeric powder and ginger garlic paste to the besan.
- Now combine them well and add equal size boneless chicken pieces. Now mix every thing well and add little water to make mixture.
- You need to make sure that the chicken is fully covered with pakoda mixture.
- After that, heat the oil and once the oil is hot enough fry them equally on the both sides. The colour of the chicken pakoda should be golden brown.
