ingredients for the batter

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp corn flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp pepper powder
  • 1 tsp red chili flakes
  • Water AS required for the batter


  • 1/2 cup Bread crumbs
  • oil as required for deep fry
  • 6 boiled eggs

Ingredients for stuffing:

  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 2 tbsp chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp red chili flakes
  • grated cheese/ cheese slices adjust
  • 2 tsp oregano


Pre preparation:

  • First, boiled the eggs and slice them in the middle and remove the egg yolk and keep them separately on a plate.
  • Spread the bread crumbs on a plate and keep it aside. Now chop the onions and tomatoes and keep them in separate bowls.

Pre preparation for the batter:

  • Take a mixing bowl and add all-purpose flour, cornflour, salt, pepper, red chili flakes, and add water at a low speed and make a batter without lumps.
  • The batter should not be too thin or too thick. Adjust the water according to the consistency.


  • First, heat the oil in a pan and take the half sliced egg and dip in the batter first and then roll them in the bread crumbs.
  • Make sure that the egg is fully covered with the bread crumbs. Repeat the same process for other eggs also. keep them in a plate.
  • When the oil is hot enough drop them in the oil and fry them until they turn golden brown on both sides. Fry them on the medium flame.
  • Once they are fried take in the plate with the tissue paper. This tissue helps to absorb excess oil. Let them cool down a little bit.
  • Now fill the egg with the stuffing and place a grated cheese or cheese slice on the top of the egg. Repeat the same process for other eggs also.
  • Now take a pan and 2 tbsps of oil to the pan. Once the oil is hot enough place the eggs carefully in the pan and sprinkle some oregano on the top of the eggs.
  • Now the cover lid and cook for 5 mins or else until the cheese melted lightly. Serve hot.
