Garlic Chicken Cheese Sandwich

Ingredients

Ingredients for spreading

  • 2 tbsp minced garlic/ chopped garlic
  • 50 gms butter
  • 1 tbsp red chilli flakes
  • 1 tbsp chopped cilantro/coriander
  • 1/2 tsp salt avoid if you use store-bought butter

Ingredients for stuffing

  • 1 cup boiled chicken
  • 1/4 cup chicken stock
  • 2 tbsp chopped onions
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp veg mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp coriander leaves
  • 4 bread slices
  • 2 tbsp oregano
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese can use cheese slice also

Instructions

Pre-Preparation:

  • Chop the garlic, coriander leaves, and onions. Can chop the garlic by using a chopper or mixer.
  • Boil the chicken and shred the chicken from the bones and can add a pinch of salt and pepper while boiling the chicken.

Preparation of spreading:

  • Take the butter in the medium-size bowl and add chopped garlic, red chili flakes, coriander leaves and mix well. Add salt if you are using homemade butter. Above all the butter should be at the room temperature.

Preparation of stuffing:

  • Heat the olive oil in the pan and add chopped garlic when the pan is hot enough. Saute the garlic until the raw flavor is gone.
  • Then add chopped onions and saute them and boiled chicken to the pan. Mix the chicken well so that it can absorb the flavors from garlic and onion.
  • After that add salt and pepper and mix well. Then add chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
  • Turn off the stove and take the chicken stuffing in the bowl and let the mixture cool down. Finally, add veg mayonnaise to the chicken and mix well. Can use normal mayonnaise also.

Preparation of sandwiches:

  • Take two bread slices on a plate and spread the garlic butter on the bread without any gaps and add grated cheese on the bread.
  • After that add chicken stuffing on the cheese and close it with another bread slice. And then spread the garlic butter on the top of the bread.
  • Now heat the pan on the medium flame and keep the sandwich on the pan and cover it with the lid. So that the cheese can melt quickly.
  • After that turn the sandwich on the other side and spread the butter on the top and again cover it with lid.
  • After 1min again turn the sandwich and sprinkle some oregano a the top of the bread and add butter to roast the oregano and turn the sandwich.
  • After 1min turn off the stove and take the sandwich on a plate and cut it in 2 triangles. Serve the chicken cheese sandwich hot.
